Joe grew up in New York City and has been working in pharmacy since he was sixteen years old. He is married with five children. Joe has been involved in the fertility specialty since 1991 and has a passion for helping hopeful parents build their families. As a father Joe values family life and wants to help others experience firsthand the joy of family.

Adrian Elorza:

Adrian has been with Metro Drugs for 9 years and has been in the drug store business since he was fifteen. Adrian emigrated from Cuba as a child, grew up in New York City and is a graduate of Pace University. Nothing is more important than family to Adrian. He understands the patience, compassion and empathy his staff must give to their clients. For Adrian, when you work for Metro Drugs, compassion is a job requirement.
Cheri Lajonchere RN, BSN:

Cheri is a graduate of Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She has worked in the fertility field for nineteen years, is an experienced IVF coordinator and has been with Metro Drugs for four years. She works closely with doctors and nurses as well as patients to ensure that they receive the best care. She is passionate about her work and enjoys making the dream of parenthood come true for her patients.
Heather Reichert:

Sales Representative for Northeast and Mid Atlantic Territories (heatherr@metrodrugs.com) Heather is a compassionate and caring member of the Metro Drugs family. She has been with the company for five years and knows that her job involves more than just sales. She has been known to go the extra mile for her patients and has even personally delivered medication to them in the late night hours when necessary.
Awilda Marte-Aiken:

Awilda has been with Metro Drugs for six years and says that there is nothing that she wouldn’t do for a patient. She has prior experience in pharmaceuticals and has performed clinical trials. She is the mother of two beautiful daughters.

Chris Pak, RPh:

Since graduating from Saint John's University, School of Pharmacy in 2010, Chris has had a few "tours" in the pharmacy world, ranging from retail, long term care, and hospital. He joined the Metro team in 2007 and hasn't looked back since. His work ethics speak volumes, having gone from Part-time Pharmacist to now current Pharmacy Director. He is extremely passionate in his vocation and always looking to expand his horizons.
Vincenzo Ognibene:

Vinny has been a pharmacy technician and an asset to Metro Drugs since 2001. He has extensive pharmacy and fertility experience and enjoys helping the staff at Metro learn and grow. He likes to be hands on with the doctors and patients that he works with.
Shazreen Kristona, CPHT:
Senior Compounding Technician (shazreenk@metrodrugs.com)
As the senior compounding technician at Metro Drugs, Shazreen supervises all compounding production for the company. Formally trained at PCCA, she has the knowledge to use the state of the art equipment at Metro Drugs, and is able to make a wide variety of medication, ranging from bio-identical hormones to veterinary compounds. Working hand in hand with the physicians, Shazreen and Metro Drugs can custom tailor any medication in any dosage form.
Damaris Colon:

Damaris has worked at Metro Drugs as a Fertility Specialist for two years and has been a pharmacy technician for more than ten years. Damaris is an asset to both patients and doctors and understands that teamwork makes a big difference in the lives of patients. As a Mom herself, Damaris values being a parent and the pleasure that it brings her and works hard to help others achieve their dream of becoming a parent.

Jannet started with Metro Drugs in September of 2004 and is a graduate of Stony Brook University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Science and Women Studies. Jannet takes the time to listen to her patients’ needs and understands that infertility can be a challenging experience to go through. She sees her job as more than just sales and is continuously rewarded with patients’ success stories. Jannet strives to achieve quality customer service and overall attentive patient care.
Claudia Yanka:
Third Party Specialist (claudiay@metrodrugs.com)
Claudia has twelve years of experience with Metro Drugs and is the contact person for insurance questions and needs. She will work with your nurse and your insurance company to provide screening and prior authorizations as needed. She understands how difficult and frustrating dealing with insurance can be and is there for the patient to make the process easier.
